A pile of colorful drawings - finished art with nowhere to go. I’m well enough to make art, but only very slowly, and my ability to learn, practice, and improve are heavily impaired. Although I can make the art, I’m also not well enough to meaningfully pursue putting it out into the world in most of the ways a typical artist would. They are out of reach, unsafe for me to do without a major risk of worsening my illness and level of functioning.

Being able to do things with me/cfs means having to fit it into a limited energy window, and take breaks when my body and brain are reaching their limit. Here I am laying down next to a lap table with an in-progress drawing on it, with a cat laying over me.

It’s me/cfs awareness day - hello from one of the #millionsMissing from participation in life.

Me/cfs wrecks hopes and dreams, and allows only the smallest slivers of them, if you’re lucky.

It’s also one of the most ignored and underfunded illnesses. It’s a scandal and we deserve better. #mecfs

I have tendonitis in my elbow, no lymph nodes on that side and have had very little pectoral muscle left on my chest due to a mastectomy. I have lymphoedema in my arm and granuloma annular on my elbow. But it's ok I can wait three weeks to be seen 🤦
