Great to see so many young Dace in the River Cam just upstream of Horningsea. They were quite curious of this large being lying in their water space. I always think young Dace look a bit cross though.

At Borough Fen, among the shoals of hundreds of small Dace fringing the River Wissey - often rather curious of snorkelers if you stay still, there were quite a few little Roach and the occasional Perch.

Also lots fine Gudgeon. Fewer Roach.
