In a flower box on a terrace behind a glass windbreak, dandelions and peppermint (not visible in the picture, the shoots are still too small) are now growing alongside chives. I added a rotten onion that had started to sprout. The green bush to the right of the dandelions is what came from it. I stuck in some burnet sprigs for the photo, so please don't be surprised.
The photo shows three buttered crispbread slices sprinkled with a herb mixture on a dark brown plate on a wooden table. A delicious, incredibly healthy, and simple meal can be made with fresh herbs. For this mixture, I chopped chives, onion sprouts, dandelion leaves, salad burnet, and parsley. Instead of making herb butter or quark, I simply spread the mixture on buttered crispbread. You can eat the entire dandelion plant, including the stem, flowers, and root. You can also add violet blossoms, daisy blossoms, ground ivy, or wild garlic leaves.
