This has happened before. And it will happen again with the next pandemic.
If we don't break the loop, the #GreatestMEdicalScandal repeats itself. All battles are important, but this one is impervious to time. There will be no shortcut, no escape, until one generation acts on it.
The abandonment is hard to describe, but many of my fellow patients have found beautifully piercing ways to articulate it. Many say they feel like they don’t exist. Life goes on while we stay still. This is a solvable problem but we have to FUND RESEARCH. & do journalism!

From where I sit, most of our promising advancements are coming from patients. Our community is amazing and I’m grateful for the things we’re managing to do, but we are SO SICK. It should not be all on us to fix this.

The effects of a malfunctioning brainstem are hard to understand - most of all if medecine or media has never made the effort to show it.

The #GreatestMEdicalScandal should have been brought to the Supreme Court 30y ago and I am really surprised there haven't been big judiciary movements about the topic in the last 6 years. You will not find an easier and more flagrant health abuse to pick on the state.
