Here's a mariner's view of the enormous (22ha) Deer Park coastal promontory fort at the western edge of Pembrokeshire. There's a smaller, inner fort on the rocky promontory (left) too 😮

Chesters Hill Fort in East Lothian in Scotland was probably built in the first millennium BC, and was occupied into the Roman occupation of Britain in the early centuries of the first millennium AD. The remains of several houses are visible within the fort. #HillfortsWednesday
