Today QofL is 8/10

As it's #CrohnsAndColitisAwarenessWeek I decided to get back in touch with my #IBD team to restart my influsions now that my wounds are (mostly) closed and I can travel to the hospital again.

Just to add that I take the same precautions as I did on Aza, e.g. staying out of the sun, wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer (a lot) when out in public, and I keep up-to-date with vaccines and screenings.

I haven't found a downside of #Infliximab yet.

However, it really helped with #Crohn's flares. I mean, it was still working (I think) up until 3 months ago. Certainly, flares became infrequent, pain levels were lower during flares, and general toilet habits were very much improved.

I'd even eaten a few iffy foods without issue.

Me! It was working for me, but because of surgeries, I had to stop (only chairs, no beds in the infusion suite). I'm hoping to restart soon.

I'd just had my first maintenance dose when I developed another Crohn's abscess, so I'm not sure if it works for those.

I really need my wounds to heal so I can return to #Infliximab #infusion therapy. My flares are coming at smaller intervals and the pain is increasing. I'm not eating anything extraordinary to cause this, so the therapy must be wearing off.

I hate this fucking disease.
