Full-bodied with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, spices, light oak, licorice, chocolates, peppercorn, coffee, earth and black tea. Medium plus on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries. This is a delicious Grenache based blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Rich and concentrated. Showing good structure, but still very young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Complex and well balanced, tangy and engaging. The high alcohol is not too noticeable. Needs time to open up properly, so be patient. Wine Spectator 92 points. Robert Parker 94 points. A good quality wine that will pair nicely with a big piece of steak. A blend of mostly Grenache, with all 13 grape varieties allowed in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, from 80 year old vines. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $100.

Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs. Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, coffee, toast, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, peppercorn and herbs. Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries. This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Rich and expressive. Fruit forward and elegant. Spicy and entertaining. Complex and nicely balanced. Soft and smooth. Already approachable, yet still very young, and needs more time in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years. Showing good potential to become a 94+ point wine. Good right out of the bottle, and better after 3 hours of airtime. Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food, like a big piece of steak. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in (54% new) French oak barrels for 21 months. Dry and fruit forward on the palate with black currants, black plums, cherries, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs and light earth. Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries. This is a delicious Merlot from Saint Emilion. Soft and elegant. Well balanced and rich. Spicy, and showing nice finesse. This 8 year old will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine. Fruit forward with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. A Merlot for the Cabernet Sauvignon lover. A great sipping wine, that will also pair nicely with food. A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (50% new) French Oak barrels for 18 months. 15% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $55.
