Dry on the palate and very fruity with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, toast, light vanilla, dark chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, light earth, black tea and peppercorn. Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries. This is a delicious 8 year old Cabernet based blend from Napa Valley. Fruit forward with nice complexity. Showing a soft mouthfeel, elegant and rich. Good right out of the bottle, and better with some air time. Drinking at its peak now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years. Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 12% Sangiovese. Aged in (90% new) French Oak barrels for 20 months. 14.9% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $135.

Full-bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs. Dry on the palate with black currants, cooked cherries, plums, oak, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn. Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries. This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Walla Walla Valley. Still young, but already enjoyable even by itself. Elegant and fruit forward. Complex and rich. Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years. This Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a great sipping wine, that will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak. A blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot. Aged for 33 months in (75% new) French oak barrels. A tiny production of only 7 barrels. 14.8% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $225.

Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already drinking beautifully. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. A great vintage that is very giving at the moment. Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. Strong and very aromatic nose of violets, blackberries, stewed plums, sweet cherries, cedar, toast, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, licorice, coffee, peppercorn, light cola and sweet tobacco. Full-bodied and creamy with medium acidity and long legs. Dry on the palate and very fruity with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, dried figs, cedar, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, dark chocolates, light earth, herbs and spices. Long long finish with fine grained tannins, cherries and raspberries. This 4 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is already gorgeous. Showing great complexity with a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and fruit forward. Nicely balanced and engaging. Good right out of the bottle, but so much better after 3 hours in the decanter. Still young and will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years. Very complex already, and very entertaining. Powerful and velvety. Showing a surprisingly beautiful nose already, especially considering its young age. I've had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent. So far, my favorite vintage of it was the 2016. A fabulous sipping wine that will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak. A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc. Aged in French oak barrels for 20 months. A small production of less than 1,500 bottles. 14.9% alcohol by volume. 94 points. $235.

This 7 year old Merlot is drinking beautifully now and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. The nose feels very fresh and complex. Showing a touch of Right Bank Bordeaux feel, which makes it more interesting. Needed an hour in the decanter to open up properly and balance itself out. Good by itself as a sipping wine and good with food. Will pair nicely with lamb chops or grilled meats. 100% Merlot grapes were aged in French oak barrels. A tiny production of only 300 bottles. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $100.

This is a delicious Mourvedre from Bandol. Rich and fruit forward with nice complexity. Elegant with lots of fruits and chocolate notes. This 5 year old is drinking beautifully now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 25 years. A good sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food. A blend of 90% Mourvedre and 10% Grenache. Aged in used French oak barrels for 18 months. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $50.

This delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is still very young and needs some bottle time to mature properly, but already drinking beautifully. Rich, yet elegant. Fruit forward, Nicely balanced and easy drinking. Spicy and entertaining. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Showing good potential to become a 94 point wine. Showing lots of red fruits, especially on the nose, which surprised me a bit. A different style of Napa Cabernet, and very unique. Needed 3 hours in the decanter to open up. Complex and engaging. A good sipping wine that will pair nicely with food too. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged for 30 months in (80% new) French Oak barrels. A small production of 7,200 bottles. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $230.
