Goldenrod soldier beetle on the top of Queen Anne's Lace, or wild carrot, a plant with numerous small white flowers. There is one pink flower in the middle which seems to have the beetle's attention. The beetle is mostly a dull orange with oval black spots at the end of its wings. and another black spot on its thorax.
