Researchers used #PF543 (MedChemExpress) to interrogate the role of #sphingolipid metabolism in driving tumor cell survival. By inhibiting S1P production, PF543 abolished the survival advantage conferred by 3LS-positive plasma, confirming the central role of the ceramide-S1P axis in this phenotype.
