@angbirdnews.bsky.social had a walk with my wife in Nant y Pandy from Dingle car park almost to Cefni reservoir. Highlights were: 1 raven, 1 great spotted woodpecker, 1 calling nuthatch and my wife spotted a bird she didn't recognise which turned out to be a redpoll. #WelshBirding
Fantastic work as usual @jmjbirding.bsky.social both for your weekly updates and this timely summary. There can’t be many other #WelshBirding or #UKBirding counties which have an annual bird report published on the last day of the same year!
Best wishes and good birding in 2026.

Better weather today so paid a visit to see one of my favourite winter visitors The Loon, or Black-Throated Diver which is residing locally. It was feeding on a shoal of fish and also calling, what a privilege to see and hear!!💚 #WelshBirding #UkBirding

Well, the second day of meteorological spring has gone more or less exactly the same as the first day of meteorological spring: snow, Merlin, snow, Golden Plovers, snow, snow, snow,… [ad infinitum]. #gwentbirding #welshbirding #ukbirding 🪶
