When I was filming this Adder I was deep in Skylark territory but as I glanced to my right this bird was sat in the top of the hedgerow.
Short tail; black & white bar on the leading edge of wings - Woodlark, I thought...

We have an overwintering #WoodLark just north of where I live.
It's very rare in winter, I think it's only the second ever winter record for the county.
