Eine Listspinne sitzt auf rauer, von Flechten bewachsener Baumrinde. Die Spinne zeigt die charakteristischen Merkmale der Pisauridae-Familie: einen langgestreckten, hellbraun gestreiften Körper mit deutlichem Längsmuster, auffallend lange, dünn behaarte Beine und die typische flache Haltung mit seitlich ausgestreckten Vorderbeinen. Der schmale Körperbau und die Beinstellung sind typisch für diese Jagdspinnen, die keine Netze bauen, sondern aktiv auf Beute lauern. Die Rinde zeigt verschiedene Braun- und Grautöne mit strukturierter, verwitterter Oberfläche.
Listspinnen (Pisaura mirabilis) gehören zu den Raubspinnen (Pisauridae) und sind meiner Meinung nach eine der schönsten heimischen Spinnenarten.
