Männliche Brückenkreuzspinne (Larinioides sclopetarius) von oben auf grauem Brückengeländer. Die Spinne zeigt ihre charakteristische Körperfärbung mit braun-schwarzem Vorder- und Hinterkörper mit dunklem Muster. Die acht Beine weisen deutliche helle und dunkle Bänderung auf.

These spiders decorate their webs with various junk so as to be mistaken for junk themselves and to confuse potential predators, not the prey. They are quite aesthetically beautiful spiders.
