もうひとつは地植えに

半分に株分けして、片方を鉢に戻し、もう片方を先日色違いのルドベキアが枯れた場所に植え付ける。
枯れたルドベキア、根のあたりがふかふかしてたから、コガネ幼虫とかそんなんいるだろ！と思ってよく探したんだけど、見つからなかった…
もういないと信じたい😐

冬の間は地上部が枯れるので、枯らしたまま霜除けに放置してたら、すでに新芽がむくむくと現れている。まずい🫣

これはもっと不安なルドベキア。
去年の夏は、雑草の中放置で生き延びた頑丈なやつだけど、頑丈だと思って冬じゅう放ってたら、なんか、新芽が出てきてない…
何気なく引っ張ったら、ギリ手応えはあるが、根元がぐらつく…
思わず株元のふかふかする土を踏み固めてしまったけど、今冷静に考えるに、ネキリムシとかコガネ幼虫の仕業か！？？
うう、鉢ならひっくり返して土替えできるけど、地植えはどうしようもない…。
耐えてくれ！

ブランドの説明によると、株幅60〜80cmになるそうだけど…なるか！？
左隣のが、今年春に地植えした同じルドベキア（色違い）なんだけど、そんなに大きくならなかった…いや、ものすごい雑草の中で、生き延びただけ素晴らしいのだが！
ルドベキアも、大きくなるどころではなかったんだろうな…。
来年こそは、もうちょっと雑草を抑え込みたい(¯―¯٥)
