Vom Feld ins Archiv: ZB MED und ZALF etablieren einen gemeinsamen Workflow für den zeitlich unbegrenzten Erhalt agrarwissenschaftlicher Forschungsdaten Langjährige Messreihen zu Bodenfeuchte und Nährstoffgehalten, Ertragsdaten aus Feldversuchen, Wetter- und Klimadaten, Vegetationsaufnahmen, Analysen zur Biodiversität in Agrarlandschaften: Boden- und agrarwissenschaftliche Daten sind eine zentrale Grundlage für Forschung zu nachhaltiger Landnutzung und Ernährungssicherung. Diese Daten entstehen häufig in Langzeitversuchen über Jahre und Jahrzehnte hinweg und liegen in vielen unterschiedlichen Formaten vor. Um die wertvollen Informationen dauerhaft zugänglich und nutzbar zu halten, kooperieren ZB MED – Informationszentrum Lebenswissenschaften und das Leibniz-Zentrum für Agrarlandschaftsforschung (ZALF) e. V. nun in einem gemeinsamen, einrichtungsübergreifenden Standardprozess.

Anschließend übernimmt das digitale Langzeitarchiv von PUBLISSO die dauerhafte Sicherung – auch über technologische Veränderungen hinweg. Und das alles nach den FAIR-Prinzipien.

Ein wichtiger Schritt für nachhaltige Agrarforschung.
