Structural insights into tecovirimat antiviral activity and poxvirus resistance - Nature Microbiology Tecovirimat forces dimerization of the poxvirus phospholipase F13 blocking virus spread. Clinical monkeypox virus strains resistant to tecovirimat show mutations in the F13 dimer interface.

Congrats to Pablo Guardado-Calvo and colleagues for the analysis of anti #monkeypox virus activity of #tecovirimat, which acts as a molecular glue, triggering dimerization of the #poxvirus F13 protein.
