A south-facing view through the double arches of Victoria Bridge in Bath. Most of the stone is light, though the caps over the arches are dark. There are 3 poles set into the ground on either end of the short span, presumably to keep it for pedestrians and cyclists only. The small, flat cobblestones are grey and look modern.
You can almost hear the echoing 'clip clop' of horses' hooves as you cross Victoria Bridge in Bath.

A female Banded Demoiselle lies on her side on the surface of a river, partly submerged, probing beneath the water for suitable vegetation into which to lay her eggs. She is a large, metallic green damselfly with green wings. Her male partner, who is dark metallic blue with a broad blue band across his wings, is standing on top of her partly-submerged body to ensure that no other male can seize and mate with her before she has laid the eggs he fertilized.

An idyllic setting beside a river. We're on a low bank of lawn a few metres back from the edge of a slow-moving river a dozen or so metres wide that enters from the left of view and curves away to the right where it meets a low stone bridge with a couple of arches underneath. Some tall trunks of trees are directly ahead of us but without many branches low down they don't obscure the view over the water or to the bank opposite. There are leafier, smaller trees on the far bank, light green against the deep blue of the clear sky. On the lawn in front of us there are shadows of other tall, largely leafless trees casting skeletal shapes. A couple of people are sat on a park bench to the far right of view near the edge of the river. It feels warm and quiet, very peaceful.
