A late evening landscape oriented image of Durham City taken in February, so it is completely dark, from the vantage point of a bridge over the River Wear. Running from left to right is a weir, that works as a lead in line. There is a bridge crossing the river at the furthest point of it we see. Again coming in from the left are shops and houses with lights on in most of the windows. Almost central up in the night sky are the towers of the cathedral.
