40:36 at Forest Rec parkrun - hilly! 10th visit to FR today marking World Cancer Day with supporters of #5kYourWay charity 💙. I've walked the FR parkrun several times but the last time I was faster than today was Feb 2020 (though I do have to knock another 3 mins off to beat that time 😬)

A bit of nonsense before #parkrun this morning, a parkwalker as part of today's attempt to set a record for the number of parkwalkers in the UK. Loads of folk there for it, including the monthly #5kYourWay gang, part of Move Against Cancer charity

It was tough going at Nonsuch parkrun today, muddy, slippery and in some places, waterlogged. A good turnout though (544), nevertheless. It was also 5K Your Way day and we fielded a good number of runners, walkers and volunteers.

Just read one of our local #5kYourWay ambassadors has passed away. This is so sad as didn’t know her nearly as well as I would’ve liked. It’s humbling that people with such serious medical conditions use their precious time encouraging and supporting others to try #parkrun
