AI Study Identifies Gut Biomarkers for Early Detection of Gastrointestinal Diseases Researchers at the University of Birmingham have identified a set of gut microbiome and metabolome markers that could improve early detection of gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and inflammatory bowel disease.
