Three frames all shot in the same ancient woodland this afternoon in Surrey near the Kent border in South-east England. In the left photo, white Wood Anenomes form a pattern with the green leaves of their plants with fallen brown autumn leaves filling in the mosaic. A thick-trunked tree stands at the edge of the clearing, part of it covered in green moss. The central photo is a close-up of the downward drooping, bell-shaped English Bluebell flowers - several on one green stem. The ends of each flower turn up in a kind of frilly fringe. The shot is taken into the sinking afternoon sun towards a field and copse of trees that are blurred out in macro mode. The final photo is of a small patch of yellow Lesser Celandine on green leaves, again among fallen leaves, in front of a clump of Bluebells
