Bei dem neuen Gesetzentwurf geht es um sog. Neue Genomische Techniken (NGTs). Das sind neuere Methoden, um vorhandene Gene in Organismen zu verändern. Die bekannteste ist die nobelpreisgekrönte Genschere #CRISPR. Damit kann man gezielt kleine genetische Veränderungen erzeugen.
