A photograph on a dull day of woodland aside the approach road. To a local RSPB site with good accessibility. Featuring stage left a gnarled trunk of a naked tree. To the right and set further back a very swat trunk even more gnarled and in my mind appearing like an aged upturned root given its deeper brown colour. It’s backed by a lush leaf adorned tree, triangular in shape. The ground is a beautiful warm brown of dried ferns.
