A 3mm long beetle and it can be found in oxeye daisies as here, but also a pest indoors.

The Hidden Guest on an Oxeye Daisy 🌼 Nature always has surprises. This Oxeye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare), with its crisp white petals and bright yellow center, stood tall under the summer sun. But upon closer inspection, I noticed a tiny green bug perched at the top right corner of the flower’s golden center—a little moment of life often missed unless you pause and look closer. Oxeye Daisies grow 1–3 feet tall and can be found in fields, meadows, and roadsides, spreading easily through seeds and rhizomes. This is a close-up macro photo of an oxeye daisy, taken on 22 May 2025 on the Wales Coast Path near Ceibwr in Pembrokeshire. White petals (called ray florets) surround a mustard yellow centre (called disk florets) which are made up of tiny individual flowers.
The first oxeye daisy I've spotted on our local coastal path so far this year...can't wait for more to begin blooming 💛
