Provenance Vineyards Carneros Chardonnay 2016, California #AgedWineTuesday Dark yellow in color with a golden hue. Strong nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity. Showing overripe citrus and apple fruits with oak, spices, light vanilla, herbs, tangerines, light honeysuckle, sea salt and white pepper. Nice length on the finish with herbs and dried fruits. This 9 year old Chardonnay is still drinking beautifully. So nice to see that. Complex and entertaining. Nicely balanced, and good by itself as a sipping wine. Rich and elegant, and still shows lots of fruits. Paired nicely with the Italian Prosciutto. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 91 points. $25 (at release).

Dry on the palate with medium acidity. Showing red fruits with earth, light wood, spices, coffee, black tea, metals and peppercorn. Short and tangy finish with tart raspberries and soft tannins. This 7 year old Mourvedre blend from Yakima Valley is still drinking nicely, although a little past its prime. Soft and smooth. Elegant and fruit forward. This Single Vineyard GSM blend is elegant and feels more like a like Southern Rhone red. Nicely balanced with nice complexity. A blend of 70% Mourvedre, 25% Grenache and 5% Syrah. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 89 points. $45.

Nose of fresh raspberries, citrus, limes, light yeast, green apples, light earth, herbs and minerals. Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity, and medium plus sized bubbles. Dry on the palate with raspberries, limes, light watermelon, under ripe cherries, minerals, light yeast and spices. Long finish with tangy cranberries. This is a delicious Sparkling Rosé from Oregon. Elegant and nicely balanced. Fruit forward and easy drinking. Complex and entertaining. This 7 year old Sparkling is still young, but already drinking beautifully, and will continue to age nicely in the 5 to 7 years. I had the 2017 vintage a year ago and loved it as well. Good by itself as a sipping wine. A blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Aged on the lees for 5 years. Disgorged in 2024. A small production of less than 3,000 bottles. 12.5% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $75.
