Fruity nose of black currants, cooked plums, light cedar, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, chocolates and light black pepper. Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs. Dry and fruit forward on the palate with black currants, black plums, cherries, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs and light earth. Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries. This is a delicious Merlot from Saint Emilion. Soft and elegant. Well balanced and rich. Spicy, and showing nice finesse. This 8 year old will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine. Fruit forward with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. A Merlot for the Cabernet Sauvignon lover. A great sipping wine, that will also pair nicely with food. A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (50% new) French Oak barrels for 18 months. 15% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $55.

Showing a soft mouthfeel, elegant and rich. Good right out of the bottle, and better with some air time. Drinking at its peak now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years. Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 12% Sangiovese. Aged in (90% new) French Oak barrels for 20 months. 14.9% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $135.

Medium plus in body and soft, with medium acidity and long legs. Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, cherries, toast, cedar, light vanilla, mediterranean spices, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, earth and peppercorn. Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries. This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia. Rich and elegant. Fruit forward and complex. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy and entertaining. Good right out of the bottle, and better after 60 minutes of airtime. Robert Parker 91 points. Wine Spectator 91 points. This 23 year old is drinking beautifully now and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years. I've had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent. Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food like lamb dishes. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in all new American oak barrels for 14 months. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 94 points. $225.
