Poem reads….. Am I Free… If your allegiance is ruled by decree are coerced to conform and agree they deny you exist if you care to resist then no my friend you are not free. Under threat do you serve without fee asking freedom without guarantee do you peddle their lies, wear their disguise if so my friend you are not free. But question and dare disagree when challenged you fare not to flee refuse to enlist, cry cease and desist now my friend you could be free. If you bring down your wall and let be inhibitions and warts all to see fear not your own song, if morals are strong now my friend … …now you are free.
I had much in mind when writing this, it seems applicable to victims of injustice but also those who deal the deck. Intention is reflective, in no way ‘Lamenting Advice’, I’m in no position to do that.
