A few #spiders from the previous 2 days. None of which are identified to species but i do like the diversity of this group of inverts.

My, what pretty flowers...aaaaAAHhHhRrhrhhggg....is what a bee's last thoughts would be visiting the wife's Cleveland Sage right now. That crab spider I nailed a couple of weeks ago, look it up, is larger now, and hunting the same sweet smelling flowers, just catching some rays...and anything else!

A green lynx spider is stepping down from some small stickers on a weed. The body is green, the legs are a bit yellowish and spiky.

Low energy visit today. Only two guerrillas turned up today both struggling with their health. We managed to pick up the rubbish on Meanwhile 1 which never seems to get any less. Then we moved to Meanwhile 2 but decided just to maintain what had already been cleared and not start on new stuff. Interesting finds today...... The scaffolding clamps were not unexpected as scaffolding has gone up on the house on the boundary of Meanwhile 2 - we returned the clamps to the vicinity and hope they get found.

A 500-million-year-old clawed predator rewrites the origin of spiders and horseshoe crabs Harvard researchers reveal the earliest known Chelicerata in a new study published in Nature. The 500-million-year-old fossil, named Megachelicerax cousteaui, provides unequivocal evidence of chelicera, a feature never before seen in Cambrian arthropods. The discovery pushes back the origin of chelicerates by at least 20 million years and proves their distinctive body plan emerged during the Cambrian explosion.
