Showing raspberries, fresh cherries, light oak, spices, chocolates, coffee and black pepper. Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries. This is a delicious Grenache from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Still young, but already drinking beautifully. Easy drinking right out of the bottle, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Robert Parker 93 points. I've had a few vintages of this wine, and this vintage is absolutely fantastic. The high alcohol is well integrated already. Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A blend of 85% Grenache, 5% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre and 5% local varieties. 92 points. $90.

Reddish in color with light intensity. Fruity nose with red fruits. Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with nice complexity. Showing red cherries, currants, light wood ,spices, coffee ,dark chocolates and peppercorn. Nice finish with soft tannins and cherries. This Grenache from Châteauneuf-du-Pape is still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Elegant and nicely balanced. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Good by itself or with food. 100% Grenache grapes were aged for 24 months in used French oak barrels. 16% alcohol by volume. 90 points. $80.
