Dry on the palate with plums, currants, cooked cherries, oak, chocolates, light licorice, spices, tobacco leaf, light earth, herbs and black pepper. Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries. This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Red Mountain in Washington State. Elegant and nicely balanced. Feels like a Left Bank Bordeaux. Spicy and entertaining. Really enjoyed the nose. This 8 year old Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking beautifully now, with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. Delicious by itself as a sipping wine, and will pair nicely with food too. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged for 22 months in all new oak barrels, 80% American and 20% French. A tiny production of only 1,400 bottles. 14% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $75.

Elegant and soft. Spicy and entertaining. Good by itself or with food. A great sipping wine. A blend of 77% Merlot and 23% Cabernet Franc. Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries. This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Napa valley. Rich and extracted. Fruit forward and complex. Well balanced and elegant. An iconic wine that still needs more time in the bottle to mature properly. Although it is 9 years old, it still feels very young. Will continue to age nicely in the next 25 years. This Single Vineyard is showing great potential. Good right out of the bottle, and so much better after 3 hours of decanting.
