Medium bodied with medium acidity and medium sized bubbles. Dry on the palate with lemons, green apples, limes, spices, light yeast and minerals. This 14 year old Vintage Champagne is showing nice complexity and mouthfeel. Feels young, especially on the nose. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years, and see how it evolves. A blend of equivalent portions of 6 grapes including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Blanc. Disgorged in February 2022. 12% alcohol by volume. 90 points. $120.

Medium plus in body with small bubbles, and medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing. Dry on the palate with apples, pears, ripe lemons, light herbs, yeast, spices, minerals, brioche and sea salt. Tangy finish with limes and more bread notes. This is a very tasty Sparkling Wine from California. Feels like an entry level Champagne, which surprised me a bit. Nicely balanced and easy drinking with a nice mouthfeel. Creamy and elegant. Salty and interesting. Good by itself or with food, and better when not too cold. A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. Made in the Traditional Method. 12.5% alcohol by volume. 91 points. $40.
