Cayuse Vineyards Edith Rosé 2022, Walla Walla Valley Pretty color of peach with a salmon hue. Soft nose of light raspberries, fresh cherries, light citrus, green apples, spices and minerals. Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, citrus, peaches, spices, sea salt and cayenne pepper. Long finish with limes and tart pomegranates. This is a delicious Rosé from Walla Walla Valley. Rich and creamy. Very spicy and entertaining. Complex and engaging. Fully dry, but showing this fruitines on the palate, which is very attractive. This Single Vineyard Rosé is starting to drink beautifully now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Showing good balance with a great mouthfeel. Feels like a spicy Bandol Rosé. So interesting. Wine Enthusiasts 93 points. Good when properly chilled, but shows the complexity when not too cold. This 6 year old Cabernet Franc from Walla Walla Valley is starting to drink nicely now, but needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Earthy and spicy. Elegant with a soft mouthfeel. Interesting stuff. Strong nose of black fruits with light cedar, vanilla, licorice, chocolates, cola, herbs and spices. Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, black plums, cedar, tobacco leaf, light earth, coffee, herbs, dark chocolates, black tea, peppercorn and cola. Long finish with no tannins and tangy cherries. This is a delicious 10-year-old Cabernet Sauvignon from Walla Walla Valley. Rich and fruit forward. Complex and nicely balanced. Good right out of the bottle and didn't evolve much with air, even after after 2 hours. Wine Enthusiasts 90 points. I had this vintage 7 years ago, and it is so much better now. Probably a little past its peak, but delicious nonetheless. A little flat at this point, but very tasty. I love these Cabernet based Bordeaux blends. Easy drinking and a great sipping wine. A blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. Aged in (28% new) French Oak barrels. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $45 (current vintage).

This young Syrah from the Rocks District in Walla Walla Valley is nicely balanced, rich and extracted. Bold, yet elegant. Already complex and approachable, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Stinky in a good way, and feels like a new world Syrah with a Northern Rhone feel. Good by itself or with food, like game meats. Grapes were aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 91 points. $50.

Drinking beautifully now, and will continue to do so in the next 5 to 7 years. Peaking now, and very elegant. Soft and smooth. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Interesting stuff, and not for the faint of heart, but so delicious, and a great sipping wine to share with friends and talk about. This 11 year old Merlot still feels fresh and engaging, with a lot of power to last even longer. This Single Vineyard Merlot is extracted and fruit forward. The alcohol is nicely integrated by now.
